It seems like it has a lot of potential to be amazing, and I think the group that worked on it really cared for it, but it just ultimately feels unfinished. I want to finish 7, but I’ve run into several bugs that crash my game and I can’t get past them. Over three decades, the Might and Magic franchise has spawned over 50 classic fantasy video games across multiple platforms from PC to consoles to web games, and recently on mobile, including the critically acclaimed turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might & Magic 3, first person action title Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, and 1v99 auto-battler Might & Magic: Chess Royale. I know a lot of people have issues with the creature system, and I totally get it. 4 also has my favorite hero system of all the Heroes games.
All of the story lines were so well done and felt like I was reading a novel from one of my favorite fantasy authors. I think it has the best written stories out of all the Might and Magic games. I have a very special place in my heart for 4 though. The story was great, amazing characters, and I loved the skill system and the combat.
I grew up as a kid playing 3 and still play it to this day.
